A document for parents and pupils to sign. Invaluable for E-Safety and security. Editable as I have included my word version of the document. Has gone down well with many schools. This is a snippet from the top of the document... Parents / Carers play a crucial role in ensuring that their children understand the need to use the internet / mobile devices in an appropriate way. Research shows that many parents and carers do not fully understand the issues and are less experienced in the use of ICT than their children. The school will therefore take every opportunity to help parents understand these issues through parents’ evenings, newsletters, letters, website / VLE and information about national / local e-safety campaigns / literature. This agreement is aimed at fostering that approach. Invaluable and guaranteed to save you time.

A full set of cursive handwriting worksheets from A-Z - Easily used as a whole school scheme The sheets can be used stand alone or as a template for children to use in their handwriting books, I have especially found the words after the letters helpful. I have also included a few extras that can be used to test children's 'best handwriting'

A collection of resources for anti-bullying, many of which will spark ideas for your own planning with your class. I have included a short assembly with the excellent short animation Narrated by Kate Winslet and lots of additional resources. NEW I have included this as Mac Keynote (will work on iPad) and also newly edited PowerPoint file. An excellent idea during this week is to approach ‘dealing with anger’ with the children. A great way to do this is to use the ‘Angry Birds’ video game to spark their interest I have included a powerpoint and some posters / worksheets to help. Also some sheets that go well with the Pixar short movie included. I have also written an example ‘anti-bullying letter’ example written in shared writing with the children and a ‘Dealing with dilemmas’ PowerPoint (i.e. what to do in certain situations.) I have always found the website ‘Go-Givers’ to be excellent. NB I do not claim to own the video sections of this resource. Although many are fantastic to use!

A set of resources about Remembrance Day! This is primarily designed to be a huge amount of resources to ‘dip into’ during the day or week of this event. I have now also included a Literacy unit plan including a Remembrance Day segment suitable for years 3-6 based on comments and feedback recieved. I have bullet pointed a few ideas I had to use iMovie in the classroom. Although these were written with a mac in use, many of the ideas could be used with iMovie on the iPad or a similar video editing program. Please leave a comment if you find this useful.

An assembly I made to introduce our 'E-Safety' week. I have also included an E-Safety agreement I made that can be used to hand out to parents. Also an example of year 3 planning for this week. I have also included a number of materials and worksheets that could be used effectively for E-Safety.

NB: This resource is now 1/4 of the price it originally started at and still has some outstanding unique content included. A very high quality resource. This is a 32 slide Powerpoint, including videos and high quality unique animations around the subject of Growth-Mindset designed for presentation to staff and parents alike. Many parts are also suitable for children themselves especially the videos. Uniquely designed and produced my myself and an extremely reputable colleague for use at inset in school, who has now gone on to advise in this area. As we designed this resource collaboratively I am lucky enough to be able to post these particular elements here. I have also included slide handouts and and a Mac / Keynote / iPad version of the resource, which also has embedded video files. Note the keynote version of the resource has additional special effects for Mac / OS/ iPad users. Perfect for the introduction or refresh of ‘Growth-Mindset’ in schools and won’t have been seen anywhere! I have included some of the research videos we used as part of our project.

This Quiz is is a short general knowledge quiz written by 'Quizinators’ and completely free. I am an experienced Quiz writer and presenter that decided to spread my tried and tested winning formula to others. They are ideal, for a one off event or regular use. If you are presenting a quiz I understand how meticulously researched well phrased questions and answers can help the cause. Each quiz is structured to start easy and get progressively harder (a difficult skill to approximate, after all a question is easy when you know it!) This will give teams with more knowledge a greater challenge near the end. The picture round of this quiz includes a professionally formatted image of the £20 note where players are required to identify the person and then the 9 celebrities within the remainder of the £20 notes. Each quiz contains 30 questions of increasing difficulty and an additional tie-breaker, if required. Questions 1 - 10: Easier questions designed to give your teams some confidence and even raise some laughs. Questions 11 - 20: Medium difficulty questions, some of these may include a multiple choice element. Questions 21 - 25: Harder questions which teams will find much more challenging. Questions 26 - 30: ‘The Wipeout Round’ or ‘Double or Quits’. It is suggested that in this section, you inform teams that each question is worth 2 points, however if one question is answered incorrectly the team ‘wipes-out’ and scores no points for the round, questions can however be missed out with no penalty (just receiving no points for that particular question.) A set of differentiated worksheets I made where children have to add the two numbers below to get the final brick of the top of the pyramid. The harder worksheets require inverse operations. Fantastic for an activity relating to how additional and subtraction are linked, or reinforcing the concept.
